Greetings,

Thanks again for being the people of God at Pleasant Site. I was amazed again that we gave $241 to the Gideon International Ministries this past Sunday. I thought the speaker, Bro. Alan Robison did an outstanding job presenting the message and ministry of the Gideons.

Please pray for our church family. We have several challenges over the next several weeks. Gail Armstrong will have surgery on February 11 and others in our church family are hurting emotionally and physically as well.

Our enemy is seeking to destroy us so we must be disciplined in our spiritual lives and draw ever closer to Christ. The only sin that we have any control over is our own, so let’s re-surrender ourselves to Christ and trust Him no matter what.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:19-25

This is what our church should be all about. Because of Jesus we can draw near to God and encourage each other as we join together in worship.
